The first harvest of the year!

Sadly, the tomatoes did not make it but i got chilies,alfalfa sprouts and basil flowers!

It doesn’t take a lot of time for chilies to grow. Did you know that chilies can be eaten while they are still yellow.

Alfalfa seeds are these tiny that look like miniature sprouts. They are a great addition to salads or can just eaten with a pinch salt and pepper.

All this time that I’ve had a basil forest I’ve never had flowers but now finally,they are here!

The lettuce flowers were an unexpected surprise. Now I know it hasn’t bloomed yet but I couldn’t control the excitement.
