Back to basics number 11
My wonder book helped me make these and let me tell you they were awesome !
I baked them before hand and baked with the toppings later in the day.
My sister who was visiting made the beautiful sauce.
Some onion,tomato,capsicum,fresh basil (from the garden) and of course CHEESE!
2 teaspoons (7g) of dried yeast
1 teaspoon caster sugar
1 cup (150ml) warm water
2 1/2 cups (375g) plain flour
1 teaspoon salt
1.Combine yeast,sugar and the water in a small jug or glass;cover,stand in warm place about 10 minutes or until mixture is frothy.
2.Combine yeast mixture with sifted flour and salt in a large bowl.Turn dough onto floured surface;knead about 10 minutes or until smooth and elastic.
3.Place dough in a large oiled bowl;turn once to coat in oil.Stand in warm place, covered, about 1 hour or until doubled in size.Knead dough on floured surface until smooth.
4.To be cooked at 240 degrees Celsius till the consistency is soft bread-like
